Asahi Kasei Life Science, the newest growth driver within the Asahi Kasei Group, has been formed to meet the growing demand for bioprocess solutions and contract research services from the global pharmaceutical industry. Under a new organizational structure the division combines biotherapeutics manufacturing equipment, CRO testing and CDMO services. Leading this dynamic organization is Ken Shinomiya, President, who recently also was appointed Head of the company’s Healthcare business and will further expand the portfolio and global presence in pharmaceuticals, life science and critical care products and services.
