Linde to Build New Electrolyzer Plant in Brazil

Linde announced that – through its subsidiary White Martins – will build, own and operate a second 5-MW pressurized alkaline electrolyzer to produce green hydrogen in Jacareí, São Paulo, Brazil. Start-up of the facility is expected in 2025.

Evonik to Build Electrolyzer for German Hydrogen Test

At its production site in Herne, Germany, specialty chemicals producer Evonik is investing in a pilot electrolyzer to produce green hydrogen as a feedstock for isophorone diamine (IPDA), a key raw material for wind turbine rotor blades.

Air Products and AES Plan US Mega-Scale Hydrogen Plant

Industrial gases company Air Products and utility group AES have announced plans to invest $4 billion in a mega-scale hydrogen plant, powered by wind and solar energy. The companies said the facility, which will be capable of producing more than 200 t/d, will be the largest green hydrogen plant in the US when it starts up in 2027.
