Krahn Chemie Acquires Dutch Chemical Distributor ICH Benelux

With its takeover of ICH Benelux, Krahn Chemie is significantly expanding its market position in the distribution of speciality chemicals.

ICH Benelux was established in 1979 with headquarters in Wormerveer, Netherlands. The company group also includes the subsidiaries Technoplan Farbtechnik in Bottrop, Germany and ICH Poland in Poznan, Poland. The ICH Group has its focus on the coatings industry which it supplies with high quality raw materials and a comprehensive range of technical services. The ICH Group has 35 employees.

The acquisition of ICH Benelux is a positive addition for Krahn Chemie in numerous ways.

It enables Krahn Chemie to develop its regional position in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg and also strengthens the sales team in the European key markets Germany and Poland.

As ICH works together with leading European producers of coating raw materials, the transaction will also enhance Krahn Chemie's existing product portfolio particularly with pigments and color solution systems.
