The CHEManager Innovation Pitch is both a showcase and a competition for start-ups in the chemical industry. Each year, industry experts select a winning start-up from the finalists.
Start-ups are pioneering new materials and technologies vital for the energy transition and advancing digitalization in the process industry. In life sciences, they are developing novel diagnostics, treatments, and digital research platforms. These emerging business models and partnerships are accelerating progress across R&D and the entire value chain in both sectors.
The Initiative
The CHEManager Innovation Pitch gives founders, young entrepreneurs, and start-ups from the industry the opportunity to present their idea or their newly founded company to a broad audience of experts and thus establish new contacts with potential investors, development partners, and customers.
The Competition
The CHEManager Innovation Pitch is not only a presentation platform for start-ups in CHEManager & CHEManager International. Each year, a jury of experts from organizations and companies associated with the chemical and life science industry selects an annual winner from the start-ups that make it into the CHEManager Innovation Pitch.

At the end of January, a jury of experts selected three winners from all 18 start-ups from Germany, Switzerland, Canada and the Netherlands that were given the opportunity to present themselves as part of the CHEManager Innovation Pitch initiative in 2025. One winner was selected in each of the categories “Value to Sustainability”, “Value to Society” and “Value to Industry”.
