Headquartered in Gothenburg, ACM is mostly active within the Nordic coatings, adhesives, paper, plastics, rubber and construction industries. The company has six employees and generated revenue of about €13 million in 2022.

IMCD Sweden managing director Sami Valkama commented: “With this acquisition, IMCD Sweden expects to expand its activities within industrial applications. This is a significant growth and synergy opportunity for us, as ACM brings extensive knowledge, technical expertise, and strategically important partners.”

Earlier this month, IMCD agreed to buy Indian high-performance polymers and engineering plastics distributor Tradeimpex. The transaction is expected to close during the second quarter of 2023.
