Lars Wallstein was re-elected as the European Association of Chemical Distributors (FECC) President. The new board takes office at the 2025 general assembly.

At its General Assembly in Hamburg, the European Association of Chemical Distributors (FECC) announced the re-election of Lars Wallstein of IMCD as President, coinciding with the appointment of a newly elected board to guide the association through its next chapter.
Wallstein’s continued leadership reflects strong support from FECC members, who also selected a slate of new and returning directors committed to bolstering the chemical distribution sector’s innovation, sustainability, and resilience across Europe.
FECC’s President Lars Wallstein commented: “I am grateful for the trust and look forward to serving another term. Especially in these challenging times, it is crucial to remain optimistic. Our industry has proven its agility and adaptability and is essential to connect the dots along increasingly complex and dynamic value chains. Close partnership between all stakeholders is crucial for this. As a European federation, it is important for us to interact with the entire chemical value chain and see how we can solve the ongoing issues by cooperating, with the spirit of innovation and sustainability.”
The new board will play a key role in addressing the challenges and opportunities ahead for the industry, providing strategic direction and advocacy at a time of change for the chemical value chain. FECC´s core leadership team is completed by Mikko Pasanen (TKL/Nordic Countries´ National Associations) as Vice-President-Elect and the new Treasurer, Viktor Janouskovec from the Czech National Distribution Association, SCHOD.
