Caldic Acquires Sollaari Oy Finland

Caldic, distributor and producer of food ingredients and chemicals, has successfully completed the acquisition of Sollaari Oy in Finland, expanding its business in the Nordic and Baltic food ingredients markets.

After the acquisition of Nealanders in October 2012, Caldic now employs approximately 1.100 people and is located in Europa, Asia and North America. In recent years the company has demonstrated a strong focus on growing its' food ingredients business. Currently the sales of food ingredients represents 45% of the total sales of the company.

Sollaari is a supplier of specialty food ingredients for the Nordic and Baltic food markets. The company has years of experience in the food industry and an extensive network.
