Trans-o-flex Expands International Network to Include the Balkan States

Delivery of standard goods in combined shipments (parcels and pallets) to Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Montenegro is complemented by the transportation of hazardous goods without being limited to small quantities

The trans-o-flex Logistics Group has expanded its international express delivery network to include the Balkan States of Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Montenegro.

"We transport standard goods, which do not have to be divided into parcel and pallet goods because we, as a provider of combi-freight services transport both types efficiently and carefully. In addition to this, we also take over the transportation of hazardous goods into these countries", explains Kai Schmuck, Director Sales & Marketing of trans-o-flex. "And this without being limited to small quantities."

This USP makes the difference that distinguishes the trans-o-flex Logistics Group and its partners from other delivery networks, which, in general, specialize in the transportation of either parcels or pallets and are only licensed to transport hazardous goods in small quantities.

"Trans-o-flex, on the other side, has always considered it a priority to provide all drivers and vehicles with the training and equipment necessary to ensure the safe transportation of hazardous goods,"continues Schmuck. "In combination with our EDP expertise, which ensures a smooth control and continuous transparency of the shipments, our competence in dealing with the transportation of hazardous goods and our combi-freight services are the keys to the success of trans-o-flex."

In co-operation with its Eurodis partners, trans-o-flex offers full-coverage deliveries in a total of 33 European countries. Amongst others, the Eurodis network consists of trans-o-flex in Germany and the Benelux countries, Redur in Spain and Portugal, Österreichische Post AG with its southeast European subsidiaries, UK Mail in the UK and Ireland as well as Sernam in France.

In Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia, trans-o-flex co-operates with subsidiaries of Österreichische Post AG. The Slovenian partner is Teamtrans d.o.o. with its head office in Maribor. Teamtrans is a 100-% subsidiary of Rail Cargo Austria (RCA), which has already established itself as a reliable partner for trans-o-flex in Austria, e.g. with respect to the delivery of hazardous goods
