OCI to Sell Iowa Fertilizer Stake to Koch for $3.6 Billion

Dutch fertilizer and industrial chemicals group OCI Global has agreed to sell 100% of its equity interests in its US nitrogen fertilizer facility Iowa Fertilizer Company (IFCO), located in Wever, Iowa, to Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) for $3.6 billion.

OCI and Abu Dhabi Firms in Methanol Alliance

OCI, a Dutch producer of methanol and nitrogen products, has formed a strategic alliance with investors ADQ and Alpha Dhabi Holding. The Abu Dhabi-based firms will take a 15% stake in OCI’s methanol business for $375 million. The transaction is expected to be finalized this year.
