R. Stahl Offers Ergonomic Actuators for Extreme Climate Conditions

Photo

R. Stahl, a supplier of products, systems and services for explosion protection, offers a versatile range of actuators for designing explosion-protected local control stations used in systems and machines.

The product range includes push-, mushroom-head, key-operated mushroom, locking mushroom, double-push and illuminated pushbuttons. A single actuator can be equipped with up to four contact elements.

Alongside buttons, the portfolio also includes rotary actuators, key-operated switches and LED indicator lamps. The coloured calottes of the LED indicator lamp can be easily placed right on the cover. The actuators can be combined with a diverse range of label holders and locking devices.

The durable actuators of the 8602/3 series ensure a IP66 degree of protection and are designed for global use in hazardous areas. They are especially suited for extreme climate conditions: depending on the design, they remain fully functional from -60°C to +70°C. All the actuators are extremely ergonomic and can even be operated while wearing gloves.

Due to the integrated coding, rotary and key-operated switches can be set to the "Latching/spring return" or "Key not detachable" functions without additional accessories. The new range of actuators can be combined individually with all control boxes. The different versions of the local control stations are available in stainless steel or glass fibre reinforced polyester resin. All the components and the enclosure correspond to the newest standards and can be used worldwide.
