Marchesini Group, a leading supplier of complete packaging lines and machines for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, has restructured its customer assistance service. Following the employment of new staff members to ensure efficiency and operational flexibility the customer assistance service has been renamed "Customer Care", offering just one interface to customers who can rely on straightforward, direct and real-time expertise. Marchesini focuses on assisting its customers throughout the whole product life-cycle, making major investments in order to provide a punctual and meticulous service.

Founded in 1974 in Pianoro (Bologna) and still located in the heart of Bologna's Packaging Valley, Marchesini has evolved over the years into a group that, through acquisitions and partnership agreements with complementary businesses of the main industry, is able to handle the entire packaging process, up as well as downstream, for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.

Today, Marchesini has 14 production plants, 7 acquired companies, and one partner company, each with consolidated experience in the design and manufacture of packaging machines for specific production types.
Approximately 85 % of the Group's production is devoted to the pharmaceutical industry, where Marchesini is a major point of reference, not only for multinational enterprises (including GSK, Novartis, Sanofi, Wyeth, BMS, and Pfizer), but also for small and medium-sized businesses, companies working in generics and pharmaceutical contracting business.

Maurizio Marchesini, CEO Marchesini Group, describes the strategy of his company: "The packaging industry is continuously evolving, and to remain competitive, a company has to constantly challenge technological innovation. We are convinced that we can be the right partner, working together, investigating new possibilities to find the best solution for the needs of our customers."
