Addivant announced the launch of its Lowinox FAO alkylated phenolic antioxidants, a new line of fuel additives, developed to combat fuel stability issues and aid in delivering optimum fuel performance in today's advanced technology engines. Lowinox FAO phenolic antioxidants inhibit the formation of gums and peroxides while terminating the free radical chain reactions involved in hydrocarbon oxidation.  The additive may be added during refinery stream treatment, fuel blending or storage
