The Dräger Regard 3900 Modbus Gateway is an interface to transform CAN bus data to the Modbus RTU protocol. It is designed for the communication between Dräger REGARD 3900 & 3910 control systems and the Dräger RVP 3900 or third party systems which require information via the Modbus RTU protocol.

The Dräger Regard 3900 Modbus Gateway is required to enable communication between the Dräger Regard 3900/3910 and Dräger RVP 3900 visualisation panel.

The data which is made available by the gateway contains all of the real time gas levels and alarm status of each of the connected control systems. For every Dräger REGARD 3900/3910 system connected, one Dräger Regard 3900 Modbus Gateway is required.

This gateway transforms the CAN bus data from the Dräger Regard 3900/3910 into the Modbus RTU protocol. It is therefore also possible to transmit this data to SCADA systems, PLC`s or other applications.
