Zhengrong Liu, Head of Human Resources, to Leave Lanxess

Zhengrong Liu, Head of the Group Function Human Resources (HR), will leave Lanxess as of June 30, 2013, at his own request to take up a new challenge outside the company. In his role, Liu has made significant contributions to the company's success since its creation in 2004.

Gudrun Ihling, currently Head of the Global HR Business Partner Team, will succeed Liu as of July 1, 2013. The area of Executive Development within HR will still be headed by Miriam Muehlhoff, who reports in this role directly to the Chairman of the Board of Management.
