Veranova Appoints William Sanders as Global VP of Chemical Development Operations

US contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) Veranova has appointed William Sanders as global vice president of chemical development operations, effective Sep. 18, 2023.

Sanders has over 25 years’ experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and most recently served as senior director, research and development at Actylis. Prior to this role, he worked for 16 years at MilliporeSigma/SAFC.

Sanders holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and a B.S. in Chemistry from the US University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is responsible for multiple patents and publications, earning recognition from organizations such as the ACS Division of Medicinal Chemistry and the National Institute of Health Chemistry/Biology Interface.
