Vencorex "Significantly Expanding" IPDI Capacity

Vencorex said it is "significantly expanding" its production capacity for isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), the aliphatic isocyanate monomer used as feedstock for polyurethane resin, at its Pont de Claix, France, site.

CEO Magnus Lanner said the upgrade to 20,000 t/y by the end of 2016 will enhance Vencorex's capability to supply specialty areas while at the same time underlining the company's commitment to the isocyanates markets and further strengthening its position as one of the global leading suppliers.
