Univar to Distribute Evonik Personal Care Products in US Northeast

Univar has been selected by US-based Evonik Corporation, subsidiary of the German chemical producer, to be the exclusive distributor for its personal care products in the northeastern US.

Evonik will continue to sell its silicone-based products directly.

The care portfolio consists of what the companies say is "a unique and comprehensive range of organic and silicone-based specialties designed as raw materials for personal care products and active ingredients for the protection of skin and hair."

"Our exclusive partnership with Evonik in the northeast compliments our current product portfolio and strategic supplier base further enabling Univar to deliver complete personal care solutions for technology and distribution," said the distributor's Personal and Household Care Industry senior director Kelly Gilroy.
