Umicore and Shaanxi Rock to Jointly Supply China

Belgium’s Umicore Precious Metals Chemistry and China’s Shaanxi Rock, both catalyst manufacturers, have begun a cooperation to jointly supply the pharmaceutical, fine and specialty chemical industries in China.
With the collaboration, the companies said the Chinese pharmaceutical, fine and specialty chemical industry will be able to access Umicore’s extensive portfolio of homogeneous and advanced catalysts and the comprehensive heterogeneous catalysts and precious metal recycling offering of Shaanxi Rock from a single supplier.
The two companies will appear together for the first time at CPhI China later this month.
