Thomas W. Buettner has succeeded Josef Goetz as managing director of Gemini PharmChem Mannheim in October. Born in Frankfurt in 1956, the lawyer looks back on more than 30 years of experience in the chemical industry. After he received his doctorate he worked at chemical companies Rütgers, Weylchem and AllessaChemie, where he was most recently CEO. Josef Goetz, a long-time managing director at the Mannheim, Germany, location, will be retained by the company as head of the pilot plant. The management is rounded off by Ivan Lugovoi (CFO and Investor Relations).
