At the same time, Symrise is expanding its Aroma Molecules business in an attractive product segment and contributing to the ONE Symrise strategy: targeted capital allocation, resilient value creation, and profitable growth with differentiated ingredients.

“By expanding our production capacities for Globalide, we are underscoring our commitment to strengthening strategic product areas that create tangible added value for our customers. In doing so, we are strategically advancing our Scent & Care portfolio and giving Symrise’s growth additional momentum in line with our ONE Symrise strategy,” says Michael Friede, Executive Board Member for Scent & Care at Symrise.

In the dynamic international fragrance market, ingredients with strong olfactory profiles, broad applications, and contemporary scent profiles are particularly appealing. Symrise is therefore making targeted investments in additional world-scale production capacity for Globalide in India. The biodegradable macrocyclic musk fragrance imparts long-lasting, elegant notes to fragrances and supports customers in developing sustainable formulation concepts.

“With the additional production capacity in India, we are moving closer to the dynamically growing markets in Asia and creating an additional pillar for our long-term supply capability,” says Keke Hiller, Global President of Aroma Molecules at Symrise. “Globalide combines high fragrance quality with a modern profile. With our product and technology expertise, we support our customers in developing attractive and sustainable products for consumers.”

With this expanded production base, Symrise is strengthening its position in the specialty fragrance market. The additional capacity increases the flexibility of the global supply structure and lays the foundation for meeting the growing demand for Globalide over the long term. Customers gain reliable access to an ingredient that combines high-quality fragrance profiles with versatile applications.
