Based on more than a decade of working together in key segments of the semiconductor, FPD, solar energy and other growth industries, the partners plan to intensify their collaboration in all areas of new product and application development, market development, technical exchange and material supply.

In particular, Shengjian and Solvay want to deepen their cooperation in terms of environmental protection and sustainability as well as the expanded semiconductor applications.

Solvay said it will utilize its existing technological capabilities and business resources to assist Shengjian in winning new customers and expanding into new market segments. Besides regular information exchange and technical meetings, both parties will also support each other through seminars and participation in industry conferences, exhibitions etc.

The agreement is expected to provide Shengjian with strategic sourcing of key high-performance materials from Solvay and increase the market share of its expanding products.
