Socar To Invest In Turk Refinery This Year

Azeri state-owned oil company Socar President Rovnag Abdullayev said on Tuesday the company would begin investments this year in a refinery which it is building in Turkey.

He also told journalists on the sidelines of a summit in Istanbul that the second phase of Azerbaijan's huge offshore Shah Deniz gas field was expected to provide an additional two billion cubic metres (bcm) of gas to Turkey in 2017, 4 bcm in 2018 and 6 bcm in 2019.
