Safeway Names Kent Bradley Chief Medical Officer

Safeway Monday said it appointed Kent Bradley as Chief Medical Officer.

The company created this new position to focus on further enhancing and building Safeway's reputation as a health care innovator.

Bradley will be responsible for development of the company's portfolio of health care programs including its employee and consumer wellness and prevention activities. Bradley will also be assisting the company's Safeway Health subsidiary on a range of business initiatives.
