SA Talke Wins Saudi Polymer Logistics Contract

SA Talke, a joint venture between Germany’s Talke Group and Saudi Industrial Services (SISCO), has been awarded a contract to carry out on-site logistics for National Petrochemical Industrial Company (NATPET) in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

The contract is effective from Jan. 1 2016 and initially runs for a period of three years. SA Talke will be responsible for product handling – namely polypropylene – and warehouse management. NATPET, a subsidiary of Alujain Corp, produces 400,000 t/y of both propylene and polypropylene at Yanbu.

SA Talke said the contract extends its reach from its traditional core area of Al-Jubail on Saudi Arabia’s east coast to the country’s western province.
