Russia Watchdog: No Objection To Uralkali, Silvinit Merger

The head of Russia's anti-monopoly watchdog (FAS) said on Wednesday he sees no obstacles to a merger of potash firms Uralkali and Silvinit, which would create the world's No. 2 player.

"The creation of such a monopoly could be approved," Igor Artemyev told reporters.
