Petrofac Selects Technology from Intergraph's SmartPlant Solutions

Petrofac, an international service provider to the oil & gas production and processing industry has chosen Intergraph SmartPlant Enterprise solutions to support productivity goals across the execution chain for major international projects.

SmartPlant Enterprise technology is able to add value in terms of improved design quality on projects.

Enhanced productivity with improved quality of deliverables is one of the benefits Petrofac will be able to leverage by using Intergraph's solutions. Petrofac also acknowledges the trend of some Owner Operators to standardize on Intergraph software.

The decision to work more closely with Intergraph and to enter into a long-term contract was taken by Petrofac recently. It now has SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant Electrical, SmartPlant P&ID and SmartPlant Review alongside its existing portfolio of tools.
