Nordmann, Rassmann Expands Into Turkey

Germany’s Nordmann, Rassmann (NRC) has set up a new subsidiary in Istanbul, Turkey, as it continues to grow its chemical distribution business. Nordmann, Rassmann Turkey Dis Ticaret will start operations next month. Gerd Bergmann, managing director of NRC, said the group is gaining access to an important market in Europe, which has good opportunities for economic growth and investment as well as great future potential, despite the current political situation.

He added: “This investment also creates an opportunity to launch new business from Istanbul and out into the neighboring countries of the region. The establishment of our own affiliate in Turkey means that we can offer our suppliers greater sales prospects and make our presence known throughout the region.”

The NRC group now has affiliates in 15 countries.
