New Distribution Agreements Inked

Leading emulsion polymer manufacturer Synthomer has announced a new national distribution agreement for the UK market with specialty chemicals distributor Cornelius Group.

The business relationship between the two British companies will begin on July 1, when Cornelius begins marketing Synthomer's products for the construction & coatings, adhesives, textile and fibre bonding sectors.

In other distribution news, DuPont has tapped Alfa Chemicals to be official distributor for its fluoropolymers business in the UK, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

The US chemical giant said the agreement with Alfa that took effect on May 1, covers high- and low-temperature products used in pharmaceuticals, semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, electronics, general industrial and homecare applications.
