Merck Serono Names Meeta Gulyani to Pharma Executive Committee

Merck Serono, the biopharmaceutical division of Germany's Merck KGaA, has named Meeta Gulyani as head of strategy and global franchises, effective May 7. She will be based in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S. and report to Merck Serono CEO Belén Garijo.

Ms Gulyani will lead Merck Serono's global franchises of multiple sclerosis & immunology, oncology, fertility, general medicine & endocrinology and medical devices, with a strong focus on defining integrated strategies for disease areas.

With this appointment, and the promotion of Elcin Ergun on Jan, 1 as head of commercial, Merck Serono's Pharmaceutical Executive Committee is now complete.
