Kullmann appointed Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Evonik

The Supervisory Board of Evonik appointed Christian Kullmann (47) Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board with immediate effect. Kullmann has been on the Executive Board since July 2014 and has the role of chief strategic officer. He joined the company in 2003.

Klaus Engel, Chairman of the Executive Board, compliments Kullmann, who could become his designated successor: “I highly recommended Christian Kullmann as a Board Member at the time, and I now recommend him equally highly as my deputy. He stands for continuity and dependability towards employees, customers and investors. We will continue along our successful path in the same spirit of trusting cooperation.”
