KSB Invests €12 Million in French Production Site

The KSB Group is investing in its La Roche-Chalais plant in western France to strengthen and expand its position on the global cryogenic valves market. The new building, due to be completed at the end of 2015, will have floor space of about 4,400 m² and will accommodate new machining and welding equipment as well as test facilities for the production of triple-offset butterfly valves.

Operated on platforms or factory ships, both in offshore and onshore production facilities, the valves are mainly used in liquefaction, gasification and natural gas transport. According to KSB, 60% of the globally operating liquefied gas tankers are equipped with valves from La Roche-Chalais.
