Keystone Aniline Acquires UK Dye Company

US dyes and specialty pigments provider Keystone Aniline has acquired Colour Synthesis Solutions (CSS) based in Manchester, UK, for an undisclosed sum. CSS provides colored and non-colored fine chemicals and bespoke chemistry services, including custom synthesis of dyes and reactive intermediates, and process research.

Keystone’s CEO, John Andrews, said the acquisition gives its customers access to a complete solution, namely dye creation, synthesis and full scale-up commercialization as well as  supporting its plans for growth. With immediate effect, the CSS business will be integrated into the operations of wholly owned subsidiary Keystone Europe in Huddersfield, UK.
