CSS provides colored and non-colored fine chemicals and bespoke chemistry services, including custom synthesis of dyes and reactive intermediates, and process research.

Keystone’s CEO, John Andrews, said the acquisition gives its customers access to a complete solution, namely dye creation, synthesis and full scale-up commercialization as well as  supporting its plans for growth. With immediate effect, the CSS business will be integrated into the operations of wholly owned subsidiary Keystone Europe in Huddersfield, UK.
