Joseph Barendt new President of Chiral Technologies

Chiral Technologies, a unit of Japan’s Daicel specialized in enantioselective chromatography, has appointed Joseph M. Barendt as its new president.

Prior to the appointment, Barendt, who earned a Ph.D in chemistry from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh – both in the US –   served as the company’s chief operating officer.
