Ineos Supplies Process, Will Compound at New Turkmengas Plant

Ineos is providing its Innovene S process to Hyundai Engineering for use in the polyethylene plant that will be part of the world-scale gas-to-chemicals in Turkmenistan being built for Turkish state-owned company Turkmengas

This is the first Innovene S license awarded to Ineos Technologies in Central Asia.

Along with Hyundai, Japan's Toyo and Korea's LG International are working on the complex, which will produce 386,000 t/y of HDPE and 81,000 t/y of PP. Ineos also plans to operate a 50,000 t/y compounding line at the site.

The Turkmengas plant will have a broad product range, including Bimodal PE 100 pressure pipes.
