India's September Refinery Output Down 10.2% Year-Over-Year

Indian refiners processed 10.2% less crude oil in September from a year earlier, its second straight monthly decline and steepest fall since July 2009, due to maintenance work at many plants, official data showed on Monday.

Domestic refiners processed 2.972 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil in September.

Crude oil output rose 12.5% to about 761,100 bpd in September from a year ago, while gas output rose 12.6% to about 4.22 billion cubic meters, data showed.
