India Imposes Provisional Duties on Phenol

India has imposed provisional antidumping duties on imports of phenol from the US and Taiwan, according to local reports.

The duties, levied by the country's finance ministry in response to complaints from two Indian producers, are planned to be in place for six months.

Products from the US will be charged with duties of $146.09/t, while importers of Taiwanese phenol will pay from $56.07 to $193.90/t.
