Huber’s Expansion of Silica Plant In India On Track For Completion In 2012

Huber Engineered Materials announced the expansion of its precipitated silica plant in Jhagadia, India is on schedule and set for completion in the Q4 of 2012.

"This expansion doubles our precipitated silica production capacity to 35,000 metric tons in India," says Martin Schulting, Global Director of Sales for Huber's Silica business unit. "Huber will be well-positioned to continue supporting our customers' growth with an array of high quality oral care, food and industrial grade silicas and silicates."

"The additional capacity enables us to capture growth in both the regulated and non-regulated markets in one of the world's fastest growing regions," explains Schulting.
