Symrise announced that Heinz-Jürgen Bertram has been appointed to the position of chief executive officer effective July 1, 2009. Bertram succeeds Gerold Linzbach, who, for personal reasons, has not asked for his contract to be renewed when it expires on October 22, 2009.
