Francesca Scarpitta Joins Cerbios as Director of HPAI Manufacturing Units

Cerbios has appointed Francesca Scarpitta as director of the company’s high potency active ingredients (HPAIs) production units.

"Dr. Scarpitta brings in a strong expertise and knowledge in the transfer of API manufacturing from R&D. Scale-up improvements following the development of the HPAI from clinical to commercial scale is one of her key competences,“ said Gabriel Haering, CEO of Cerbios.

Scarpitta holds a PhD in organic chemistry at the University of Pavia, Italy. Since 2000 she held various positions in the API industry in Italy and in Israel.
