FECC Appoints New Director General

The European Association of Chemical Distributors (FECC) has named Dr. Uta Jensen-Korte as its new director general at the Brussels office as of Nov. 2. Jensen-Korte earned a Ph.D from the Westfälische Wilhelms University in Münster, Germany and worked for Bayer for over 14 years. In 2002, she became director of Cefic, focusing on European and international chemical legislation, chemicals management and Reach. Since 2004 she has worked as a policy officer and head of sector with the European Commission DG Enterprise and Industry.
