Eastman Sues DAK Americas

Eastman Chemical Company said it has filed a lawsuit against DAK Americas in connection with their unauthorized use of IntegRex PET technology. Eastman developed the technology for the production of PET and said it continues to protect this "technology with a robust patent portfolio." Eastman said it "will vigorously defend these intellectual property assets."

Eastman filed its complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. The complaint alleges patent infringement of three Eastman patents that represent a portion of Eastman's IntegRex technology patent portfolio.

Eastman previously filed a lawsuit against Indorama companies located in the U.S., Europe, and Thailand in connection with their unauthorized use of IntegRex PET technology.
