Changes in the Management Board of Brenntag Latin America
After more than 12 years of service in the Brenntag Management Team and strong contribution to Brenntag Group, Peter Staartjes, President and CEO of Brenntag Latin America, has decided to leave the company and to take on new challenges beginning June 1, 2013.
Meanwhile, German Torres has been appointed Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Brenntag Latin America, effective June 1, 2013.
German Torres has been working in the Latin American chemical industry for the last 25 years and has held a variety of commercial roles in the chemical distribution industry. Most recently German held two simultaneous positions as Strategic Sourcing Director for Brenntag Latin America and Regional Manager for Brenntag Colombia achieving outstanding results in both roles.
