Brenntag Opens Polish Oil & Gas Application Center

German chemical distributor Brenntag has opened an Oil & Gas application center in Jankowice, Poland.

The facility is directly connected with Brenntag's existing blending plant located on the site of the central warehouse for the western region of Poland.

The company said the Polish laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art devices used in drilling, production and corrosion studies. It added that the center will enable it to create new products, perform the quality control of blended products and analyze samples.

Special highlights of the new Oil & Gas application centre are the demulsifier and paraffin testing facilities.

Karsten Beckmann, CEO of Brenntag Europe, Middle East and Africa, said the company sees "significant potential" in the Polish oil & gas industry.
