Brenntag Opens Food Application Centre in Poland, Karsten Beckmann,

Brenntag has opened a new Food Application centre in Zgierz, Poland. The new food laboratory consists of three sections dedicated to the branches beverage, meat processing as well as bakery and confectionery. The new facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology allowing tests of a wide range of products as well as the preparation of final products.

"The Food industry is one of our strategic focus areas in Europe and we have dedicated facilities for the support of our business partners throughout Europe. With the opening of an application centre that is now centrally located in Poland, we especially like to get closer to our customers in Central Eastern Europe and consolidate our regional Food competence at one place. We will offer our customers complete application support and know-how including trainings, which we expect to result in the creation of new innovative solutions for the market", says Karsten Beckmann, CEO Brenntag Europe, Middle East and Africa at the opening ceremony.

The new Food Application center is located at the Brenntag site in Zgierz, which has the central warehouse for most specialized products for the Food industry in Poland and is the headquarter for the Polish Food Division.
