BASF Reports Several Sites in Japan Up and Running

BASF has reported that several of its medium or large production sites in Japan are up and running normally now, including Chiba, Yokkaichi and Rokuromi, as well as many smaller construction production chemicals sites in locations throughout the country, including those in the south, which were unaffected by the disaster. However, several sites are still shut down as a precaution, including Totsuka (Kanagawa prefecture), Isohara (Ibaraki Prefecture), Koriyama (Fukushima Prefecture), Sendai (Miyagi Prefecrure), Morioka (Iwate Prefecture), Chigasaki, and Kitatone (Ibaraki Prefecture).
