BASF named Teressa Szelest President, Market & Business Development North America

BASF has named Teressa Szelest President, Market & Business Development North America, effective May 1, 2015. Szelest is currently Senior Vice President, Global Business Unit Hygiene at the company's site in Ludwigshafen. She will be located in Florham Park, New Jersey. Szelest, who was born in New York and studied Chemical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, succeeds Dr. Beate Ehle who will take a sabbatical until the end of 2015 at her own request.
