Arkema CEO Thierry Le Hénaff has reshuffled the French chemical producer’s executive committee, with an eye to a broader and more diversified representation of the business lines.

Marc Schuller has been appointed chief operating officer (COO). He will oversee the Coating Solutions, Industrial Specialties, and Advanced Materials businesses. As well as having  responsibility for North America, global raw materials and energy procurement, in addition to commercial excellence.

Three new members, Marie-Pierre Chevallier, Richard Jenkins and Erwoan Pezron, will be promoted to the executive committee effective May 4 2020, when details of their business responsibilities will be given. Jenkins will be based at Cary, North Carolina, in the US state’s Research Triangle, USA. In the meantime, Le Hénaff will continue to oversee the group’s R&D activities, which are led by Christian Collette, Arkema’s chief technical officer (CTO).

Other members of the executive committee are Bernard Boyer, executive vice president Corporate Strategy; Vincent Legros, executive vice president Bostik; Luc Benoit-Cattin, executive vice president Industry and CSR; Marie-José Donsion, chief financial officer and Thierry Parmentier, executive vice president Human Resources and Communication.
