Together, they have 50 years of internal and external expertise - which also ensures that health reaches people at the new Loxxess site near Hamburg.
As Head of Pharma & Healthcare Strategy and Sales at Loxxess, Michael Kuhn brings with him many years of industry experience in the logistics sector for pharmaceuticals and healthcare. He joined Loxxess in May, coming from DB Schenker, where he worked as Global Product Development Director Healthcare Corporate Contract Logistics/SCM. Together, Michael Kuhn and Loxxess pharma & healthcare combine half a century of expertise, which they use in a targeted manner to meet the often demanding needs of customers and new customers. With this knowledge, they support over 60 clients from the pharmaceutical and medical sectors at almost six locations in Germany. This makes Loxxess Pharma & Healthcare one of the largest specialist logistics companies in Germany today.

Loxxess operates several specialized GDP locations, where the contract logistics provider pools expertise to create capacity and proximity throughout Germany. Multi-user sites are located in Munich, Regensburg, and Ebermannsdorf, for example. GDP hazardous substances are processed in Henstedt-Ulzburg, and a highly secure special warehouse for narcotics (BTM) is located in Meerbusch near Düsseldorf, which efficiently complies with the regulatory requirements for handling highly sensitive goods. Loxxess recently founded the PharmaXnet Europe network, which Michael Kuhn is also responsible for, to offer a 360° service for the healthcare market in other European countries. Highlight 2026: New multi-user site for refrigeration and ambient products in the north
The Hamburg site is a new addition with a high degree of automation, which makes it particularly efficient and ensures very short storage times, for example. It is located in Rosengarten-Nenndorf and forms another important building block in Loxxess' nationwide network. This not only strengthens the security of supply for the region but also enables the expansion of services and capacities for existing and new business partners. In this way, Loxxess makes an important contribution to ensuring that patients and healthcare facilities receive the best possible care and that the high quality of the products is maintained throughout the entire logistics process.
