Panel discussion Flow Chemistry: Challenges and Opportunities of Micro Reaction Technologies

Achema 2018, the world’s leading international trade fair for the process industry, will open its doors on June 11 in Frankfurt, Germany. One focus topic this year will be “flexible production” with its essential key technology flow chemistry. A panel discussion organized by CHEManager on the first day of the Achema Congress will focus on the use of continuous processes in chemical and pharmaceutical production.

The session starts with a keynote presentation by Prof. Luigi Vaccaro, Laboratory of Green Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Università di Perugia, Italy, and author of the reference book "Sustainable Flow Chemistry" published by Wiley. Following, experts from the chemical & pharmaceutical industry will discuss future applications of milli and microreaction technology in the process industry.

In addition to Prof. Vaccaro, representatives of Clariant, Evonik, Merck, Patheon and Sanofi will participate in the panel discussion. They will share and discuss their experience with the use of continuous processes in production and their assessment of future application potential with the audience.

The conference language will be English.

For all those who cannot be in Frankfurt on 11 June, the panel discussion will be broadcasted live:
