Oxea Presents Product Innovations for the Paint and Coatings Industry

Oxea will present its extensive product portfolio for the paint and coatings industry at this year's European Coatings Show (ECS), April 21 to 23, in Nuremberg, Germany.

Experts from Oxea will be ready to discuss the latest product innovations and application areas for its strong product range at booth 516 in hall 1. Oxea is a leading manufacturer of high-quality raw materials for the paint and coating industry with products such as amines, specialty esters, polyols, alcohols, and carboxylic acids. Oxea's highly integrated production facilities and well-balanced value chain in Oxo chemicals along with a flexible production process make it a knowledgeable partner and a reliable supplier to the industry.

One of the highlights at this year's ECS is Oxea's TCD Diamine, a high performance epoxy resin hardener in surface coating systems, which has yielded favorable results according to a recent application study conducted by the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials IFAM in Bremen, Germany. The product and details of the study will be presented at Oxea's ECS exhibition booth.

Oxea also showcases TCD Alcohol DM, a new specialty building block for a wide range of polymers such as specialty acrylates, polyols, polyurethanes, and polyesters for applications in coatings, lacquers and resins.

From its successful phthalate-free ranges of plasticizers, Oxsoft and Oxblue, Oxea features the coalescing agent OXFILM 351. Virtually odourless and free of volatile organic compounds (VOC), OXFILM 351 has been shown to be an efficient coalescing agent for a broad range of latex and coating types.

Other products in the show include well-established key raw materials for resins from Oxea's polyols portfolio such as Trimethylolpropane (TMP), Neopentylglycol (NPG), or oxo intermediates such as alcohols and esters, and its carboxylic acids range.
